ESCONDIDO, CA – Many people in our community are eager to help San Diego Habitat for Humanity build more affordable ownership housing in our region.  Some swing a hammer on a build site, some advocate for changes in government policy that create more homeownership opportunities, and some prefer to indulge in treats provided by amazing local chefs, brewers, vintners, and bakers! Comfort food, secret family recipes, and cherished childhood flavors can remind us of our own homes and can help us welcome others into them.
