SAN DIEGO, CA – A powerful tribute to the African American and Latino players who forever changed professional baseball has arrived in San Diego. The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum Touring Exhibit, titled “Barrier Breakers,” opened this week at the San Diego Central Library and will run through May 31, 2025. This free exhibit shines a spotlight on the men who broke racial barriers in Major League Baseball, beginning with Jackie Robinson of the Brooklyn Dodgers and continuing through figures like Pumpsie Green of the Boston Red Sox.
