Located at 2200 Micro Place in Escondido, this site offers residents and businesses a convenient and free drop-off point for their electronic waste.
Operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the facility aims to provide an easy solution for disposing of e-waste responsibly. Additionally, businesses dealing with substantial quantities of electronic waste can schedule a complimentary pick-up service.

SAN FRANCISCO – On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture approved a temporary waiver that will allow participants in the USDA's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program/CalFresh in San Diego County, California, to buy hot foods with their benefits through April 3, 2024.
Due to severe storms and flooding, and effective immediately, retail food stores licensed by USDA's Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and located in San Diego County may accept SNAP benefits in exchange for hot foods and foods intended to be consumed on retailer premises.
