San Marcos, CA – El Festival de Solidaridad y Fortaleza, una celebración comunitaria del trabajo, la libertad y la unidad, se llevará a cabo el sábado 26 de abril de 2025 en el Colegio Comunitario Palomar. Este evento inaugural, organizado por el Consejo de Empleados Clasificados (CCE) y la Federación de Profesores de Palomar (PFF), sindicatos locales de AFT 4522 y 6161, está diseñado para reunir a personas de todos los ámbitos en solidaridad por un futuro más brillante.
El festival se realizará en el estacionamiento principal del colegio y contará con una emocionante variedad de actividades, entre ellas:
- Espectáculos en vivo: Danza, música y poesía interpretados por estudiantes y empleados.
- Actividades para toda la familia: Experiencias divertidas y participativas para niños, organizadas por grupos estudiantiles.
- Oradores no partidistas: Que destacarán el poder y la fortaleza de la comunidad y de los trabajadores.
- Camiones de comida: Que ofrecerán una variedad de deliciosas opciones gastronómicas para los asistentes.
- Exhibición de autos: Una muestra de vehículos locales que aportará un toque único a la festividad.
“Estamos muy emocionados de reunir a nuestra comunidad para este evento tan significativo,” dijo Anel Gonzalez, presidenta del CCE. “El festival no solo celebra la fuerza diversa de nuestras comunidades, sino que también nos recuerda que el cambio significativo comienza con la solidaridad. Esperamos forjar nuevas conexiones que impulsen el progreso durante muchos años.”

La energía y creatividad de este día seguirá inspirando e impulsando los esfuerzos de nuestra comunidad mucho después del evento.”

San Marcos, CA – The Solidarity & Strength Festival, a community celebration of labor, freedom, and unity, will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Palomar Community College. This inaugural event, organized by the Council of Classified Employees (CCE) and Palomar Faculty Federation (PFF), AFT locals 4522 and 6161, is designed to bring together people from all walks of life in solidarity for a brighter future.
