MAAC y Palomar College Ofrecen Programa de Aprendizaje de Educación y Cuidado Temprano

San Diego - Como líderes en desarrollo infantil y educación temprana, MAAC se asoció con Palomar College y Early Care & Education Pathways to Success (ECEPTS) para el piloto de su próximo nivel: aprendizaje de educación y cuidado temprano Programa: el único de su tipo en el condado de San Diego. 25 participantes recibirán cursos universitarios gratuitos en Desarrollo Infantil, capacitación paga en el trabajo en los Centros de Aprendizaje Temprano de MAAC y apoyo adicional como tutoría, tecnología y capacitación en preparación para el trabajo. U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid Awards New Contracts to Five Companies to Serve Borrowers, Reduce Delinquency, and Improve Accountability

Today, the U.S. Department of Education's (Department's) office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) announced it has signed contracts with five companies to modernize and enhance loan servicing for more than 37 million borrowers with federally managed loans. Central Research, Inc.; EdFinancial Services; Maximus Education, LLC; Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority (MOHELA); and Nelnet Diversified Solutions received contracts today through the Unified Servicing and Data Solution (USDS) solicitation and will implement much-needed improvements to better serve borrowers. Escondido - Urban Corps of San Diego County, Escondido Mayor Dane White, Escondido School Superintendent Dr. Luis Rankins-Ibarra, Tree San Diego and FedEx employee volunteers joined the students of Rocks Spring Elementary School to plant trees near the elementary school campus on St. Patrick's Day. The trees will help build Escondido's urban forest and provide shade and beautification to the neighborhood. City, Mesa, and Miramar colleges ranked among top in U.S. for Hispanic students

(Photo credit: Mesa College) San Diego - San Diego City College, San Diego Mesa College, and San Diego Miramar College have been recognized as among the top 100 colleges in the country for enrollment of Hispanic/Latino students, according to a ranking by Hispanic Outlook on Education Magazine. Among two-year colleges across the United States, San Diego City College was ranked 35th, while Miramar College was ranked 68th. Mesa College was ranked 45th for four-year colleges and universities. The figures are based on enrollment during the 2020-21 academic year, using data from the U.S. Department of Education. The U.S. Department of Education announced awards totaling nearly $1 billion through the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA). The Stronger Connections grants will help schools provide all students with safe and supportive learning opportunities and environments that are critical for their success. Through the BSCA, and under the leadership of President Biden, Congress provided $1 billion in Title IV, Part A formula funding to state educational agencies (SEAs) to develop state grant programs to provide students with safer and healthier learning environments. Habrá una variedad de actividades, desde música hasta exhibiciones, dentro del distrito de colegios comunitarios de San Diego. La lista de universidades incluye City, Mesa, Miramar y College of Continuing Education. El mes de la Herencia Hispana se extiende del 15 de septiembre al 16 de octubre y las celebraciones de la universidad coincidirán con estas fechas.
